Let’s get the obvious out of the way- nobody loves dry skin and all the flaking and cracking that comes with it. Winters and dry skin come hand in hand and there is only so much that you can do to not let it happen again. Here are 4 easy tips to deal with dry skin so that you can worry about how to seize the season.

As soon as the winter season begins, buy two moisturizer bottles. Stuff one in your everyday bag (for on the go needs) and the other in your Bathroom (apply it immediately after bath). During winters, your skin loses the ability to maintain moisture level and thus you need to provide the same to it religiously.

  1. No Hot water

This might come as a surprise but hot water acts as a catalyst to dry your skin. Since you already have dry skin, it doesn’t makes sense to make it even worse. Also, cold water baths instills a sense of alertness in you which is always a great thing to have.

Just like your body needs extra pampering in winters, your lips also need a little bit of looking after. Nobody like dry and cracked lips. Make it a habit to put on some Lip Balm at the same time when you apply Moisturizer.

 

  1. Humidifier

A humidifier is a device that increases the content of moisture in your room. This naturally helps your moisture less skin and brings a glow to your body. Leave it on throughout the night and you’ll know the difference in the morning.
