Cleansing

The first step towards attaining good skin is cleansing. Always clean your skin with the help of a good cleanser to remove the dirt that gets stuck to skin and in skin pores. Don’t go to bed ever with your makeup on, clean it with the help of makeup removers. There are a range of known brands available in the market offering makeup removers, choose the one that suits your skin the best.

 Exfoliate

The next most important part of skin care regime is exfoliation. Take facial scrub and squeeze a little amount on your palm. Using your fingers, gently rub the content in a circular motion on your face. Focus more on the areas around your nose and forehead. In case you have combo skin type, concentrate more on greasy or oily areas. Once exfoliation is complete, remove the facial scrub with luke warm water. For glowing and clear complexion, always remember to use the exfoliating scrub of a good brand that is not too harsh on your skin and does the work perfectly!

 Steam

The third step you need to follow in order to get the glowing skin is use of steam. It is essential to take steam to open pores and remove impurities. There are many ways by which you can give steam to your face. Fill a container with warm water, dip the wash cloth and press it close to your face. Repeat it twice or thrice as it suits. You can also use teapot- boil water and allow it to cool a little bit and take steam directly on to your face for glowing and clear complexion.

 Mask

Depending on your skin type you can choose different type of masks. Just as a rule of thumb – for oily skin, use a clay-based face mask and for dry skin, go with a hydrating gel or cream mask. Apply the mask, avoiding the areas around the eyes. Keep it on for 10-20 minutes (or according to the directions on the product). Rinse completely & Taddaaa….you have a fresh and radiant look!

Moisturize

For soft and smooth skin, apply basic moisturizer over your face and neck. You can shop for different brands depending on your skin type and requirements. You can also take herbal route or use home-based products, such as coconut milk or milk cream as natural moisturizers.

Follow this guide and say a big hello to a baby soft, healthy and glowing skin.
